Many need refreshments from the Lord. It’s so lonely to be separated from God because of sin, guilt, or blame, but He is always there to listen, forgive and restore. Jesus is uniquely capable to understand ALL our suffering, torment, and temptation, and offers us His strength to find relief and deliverance.
–
“This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” Hebrews 4:15-16 NLT.

Faith has the ability to move us from a place of despair to victory. Depression is both a feeling and an oppressive spirit. Short of rebuking or casting it out, simply recognizing that it is a feeling can give you control over it. Believing that God, through the Holy Spirit, has given us authority over any principality or dominion, lets us see beyond our situation. Trust that God can orchestrate circumstances, beyond our understanding, to give us a secure and beneficial future. (Mark 16:17).
–
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of HIS might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:10-12 KJV.

One way to overcome is through Praise and Worship. It is a powerful and effective tool in spiritual warfare and emotionally stabilizing. I’ve had healing miracles, words of knowledge and direction in intercessory prayer during praise and worship. The Lord has used praise and worship to drive out demons of almost paralyzing fear from my home.

“No power in the sky above or in the earth below, indeed nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God, that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:39 NLT. – “There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:45 NLT.
–
May the Lord hold you close to His heart today and help you experience His love, through accepting Jesus, whose name actually means Salvation.
